By air
The only practical option for most travellers. Veer Savarkar International Airport (Port Blair) has direct flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, generally taking 2–2.5 hours from the nearest mainland cities.
By sea
Passenger ships run from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam, but the crossing takes 3–4 days each way and schedules aren't fixed weekly — this suits travellers who see the voyage itself as part of the trip, not a time-efficient option.
Getting around once you're there
Inter-island travel is entirely by ferry — there are no bridges between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island. We book these ferry legs as part of every itinerary, timed around your sightseeing schedule.
