Andaman Entry Permits: What Indian and Foreign Travellers Need to Know
Permit requirements for Indian citizens and foreign nationals visiting the Andaman Islands.
Indian citizens
No permit is required for Indian citizens visiting Port Blair, Havelock, Neil Island or most tourist areas covered in our packages.
Foreign nationals
A Restricted Area Permit (RAP) is required and is issued free of charge on arrival at Port Blair's airport or seaport for most nationalities, valid for 30 days. A small number of remote tribal areas remain off-limits to tourists entirely and are not included in any of our itineraries.
What we handle for you
We factor permit requirements into your itinerary planning and let you know exactly what's needed for your nationality before you travel.
